Daniel David Stewart, a US-based stage and screen actor, started out in theatre as a teenager, going on to appear in Broadway shows Spring Awakening and The Band’s Visit, and also enjoyed cameo roles in TV series including The Middle and The Goodwin Games.
However, it’s his current role as war profiteer Milo Minderbinder in the new television adaptation of Catch-22, directed by George Clooney, which has won him the most acclaim. Stewart has been praised by critics for his ‘memorable’ performance in the satirical mini-series, which launched May 17, and was lauded by Vulture’s Matt Zoller Seitz as one of the show’s ‘biggest surprises’.
